Default Friday Night Borgata

I plan to be heading down to the Borgata tomorrow night... will probably get there around 9:30-10:00pm. Anyone of you guys heading there tomorrow night? Should I expect the 1/2NL games to be loose-passive? I guess my last question, is there a way to get free parking at the borgata? I've only been there once and I can't remember if any of the players cards do anything for parking. thanks

You need a black card to get free parking at Borgata.

its only 5 bucks and if you get a receipt and take it to the next casino you go to, you can park at any of the other casinos for free that same day.

I find 1/2 games on a weekend night to be a mixed bag. Last time I was there I switched tables a couple of times just to get what I was looking for.

Definitely. It's a mistake to assume that you're the big shark at any 1/2 table in Borgata. Last time I was there, the first table was like a 2p2 reunion, $10 raise pre-flop would take the blinds most of the time. I switched to another table, and people were throwing money at me (but poker gods decided to shield me away from it with a couple of runner runners in huge pots, but that's another story).

Would it be better to goto a place like the Trop to find a weak game? Also whats the proper way to get a new table, do you have to go back on the list and wait and hope you get a different one?

I don't know why people think Trop is a soft room. It's typically a rock garden in my experience. To get a new table, you tell the floor you want a table change, and you'll be on highest priority when another seat opens up. DO NOT get up from your current table until you get a table change, or you will have to get back on the list.

I played at the Borg several times last Th-Sat and agree with this.
One table I as at there would be 6-7 people attempting to limp in with $2 every time, another table you would never see a flop for less than $10-15.

Although I suppose that is common for $1-2 everywhere...it was helpful for me to switch tables if I didnt find what I needed.
