Even with 3 limpers, I won't play total trash. Anything suited is good enough for me as are unsuited connectors and one gappers. Stuff like J3 or 92, I still won't play.

As kerowo said, how good you play postflop relative to the other players is important too. Even if it's slightly +EV to play a total garbage hand, you can turn it into a big -EV situation if you're going to put a couple of bets in with a weak top pair or chasing some weak draws. I don't think it's that bad to pass up a tiny edge if you're keeping yourself from making a several bet mistake.
