He was being quite a douche for jumping around, yet completely made up for it by having an opportunity to spill beer on you and then pay for it. You could have returned the gesture by accepting, say, $45, and then going back to poker.

[/ QUOTE ] For all I know, he could be a douche outside the poker room, but this one particular instance, he was not. Neither was the guy who offered the 60 bucks for cleaning. It was a nice jesture to rectify a mistake that was made.
