Default 4/8 Live LHE Hand, JJ on Button - Loose Live Table --

4/8 live hand with JJ on button,

limp from UTG+2, call by MP, I raise on button with JJ, UTG+2 re-raise, MP call, I cap, all call

Flop

8/9/3 rainbow, UTG+2 bet, I raise, UTG+2 call MP call,

Turn

7, UTG+2 lead, MP call, I call,

river,

7

8 9 3 7 7, UTG+2 lead, MP fold, I call.

The play at the table was pretty loose and id been playing pretty tight only showed down AK, so far and UTG+2 has been playing almost every hand. Should I fold flop here? or is this standard

If UTG+2 is playing every hand, then this is super-standard in my opinion. NH

Are we into call down mode on the turn because UTG+2 leads into us yet again not seeming to care that we capped preflop and raised flop? With MP still in the hand would a turn raise sorta be ok or just plain horrible?

well, honestly, his line looks exactly like TT.

that said i think you see donks have QQ/KK enough of the time to make a turn raise have dubious value. he may even have JTs. and if we get 3 bet on the turn, we cant possibly fold.

Mr Kicker! why not AA, KK or even QQ? AA,KK are the classic pre-flop early position limp-reraise hands-did i miss something?...thanks in advance

why do these hands not 3 bet the flop

and btw i said that those hands are still possible and thus you still should not raise the turn with your JJ.

maybe I should say, "lets HOPE utg has TT and call down?" anyways the point is moot. we arent folding, and we arent raising.

Yeah,

My reads were that MP had a suited connector type hand and hit like a pair and was calling down to possibly hit a gut shot or 2nd pair ..I wasnt too concerned about him.

However against UTG + 2's range i dont really beat much, but i am getting too good of odds to really fold since i get a gut shot on the turn right ? and river i beat like almost nothing but a AK/AK,KQ ...however its a mistake to fold in a 30-40$ish dollar pot with 8 more to call with a overpair to the board.

Im really new to limit holdem, mostly play all NLHE, but trying to learn it as well. As at the local casinos the LHE games are just ridic bad.

i take it you are discounting the limp-reraise preflop, which often means only AA, or KK--you figure that play here was a canard? ...and the turn donk is because villain has TT for an overpair plus an outside straight draw? sorry, but i was confused and could not put together all the pieces to claim TT...appreciate you explanation...thanx
