NL200, AKs...lets try stack a donk, but the donk is a solid tag...
Villain and Hero play tag style, we are 140bb deep.
HERO raises $8.00 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] VILLAIN calls $8.00 *** FLOP *** [3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] HERO bets $14.00 VILLAIN raises $36.00 HERO calls $36.00 *** TURN *** [3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] [K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] HERO checks VILLAIN bets $62.00 HERO goes all-in with $220 What do you think? |

1) What better hands fold?
2) What worse hands call? 3) Is protecting your hand a concern? |

I don't think he's calling with a worse hand tbh, I prefer c/c since he'll have a set or air here a lot of the time and rarely a made hand worse than AK.

Is it HU? If not what pos are you both in? If youre up against AA then youre 3-1. If youre up against a set then youre 4-1. Youre getting about 2.3-1 from the pot.

Re: NL200, AKs...lets try stack a donk, but the donk is a solid tag...
I tend to just bet this turn myself. See if we can get some money from other draws, I expect a solid tag to raise the flop with two pair holdings or better.
I really hate seeing this turn getting checked through and facing an ugly rivercard and play the guessing game. |

itd be much better if you were only 100 bbs deep since if you get called you're generally a 4:1 dog here. this deep i think betting the turn is better especially if its against a regular and you ever want to get credit on your double barrels.

Re: NL200, AKs...lets try stack a donk, but the donk is a solid tag...
We really don't mind giving a free card though because we have the NFD. I think checking and calling a bet is much better in this situation because we are deep. We don't want to get blown off our draw and we want to let him continue bluffing if that's the case. I doubt he's ever folding 2 pair+ to the stack-a-donk line and he'll fold his bluffs and mid range pp's, so if we're called doing this we're drawing only to the flush.

If it's HU then it's fine.. I'd bet/call turn though instead of C/R.. give him chance to push you off a hand/represent the K/push an inferior draw, lots of semi-bluff raises on the flop check behind, same goes for top pair type hands.. HU is insane though if there's history so that would be important to note.
If it's 6-max then i'd c/c turn |

Disregard my advice.......I didn't see that villain raised the flop.
In that case I agree with the c/c camp. |
