10NL, middle set on monotone flop.
I'm still learning cash. Thoughts on the c/r flop line with this board? Comments about all decisions are welcome of course.

Re: 10NL, middle set on monotone flop.
I think you played this perfectly. Of course you call his push since you're only a 2 to 1 dog to a made flush and his range might be wider.

Re: 10NL, middle set on monotone flop.
I don't like a check-raise here, because I think he is less inclined to bluff/c-bet a board like this. Plus, if he is drawing to a flush, you risk giving him a free card. Just bet this one out.

Re: 10NL, middle set on monotone flop.
I almost always donk lead sets (leak?) anyhow, I think this is fine. I don't think he ever has the flush here given a standard UTG raising range. I'd guess he most likely has AxKc or AxQc. So he is likely happy to get it in on the flop, he just doesn't know that he is a small dog.
Sherman Edit: Sorry. MP shoved not UTG. So AxQc, AxJc, KcQc, 22, and any a bunch of random clubs are more likely. I still think you are plenty ahead of his range to make a call here. Any stats on MP? |
