How have you chosen your pfr amount? I recommend 4x+1 per limper.

Check the turn for pot control, you only have one pair and there is now 4 to a straight on the board. Start thinking about what hands your opponent might have. You are only thinking about your cards right now it looks like. With 4 to a straight on the board, a flush completed and the A out there you have a check fold on the river.

I don't hate a bluff on the river here since there are so many scare cards but betting that turn is suicide IMO.

also, unclick the box that says show results. No one on here cares whether we win of lose a hand, just whether we make the right/good decisions strategy wise.

the pfr is a pot size raise (full tilt) i thought the turn bet would let me know where i stood so i could make a better decision on the river, or folding the turn if raised. not a good plan?

What possible decision could you have to make on the river with a 4 card straight on the board? He called our flop bet with something and now a whole lot of somethings have a better hand than us.

IMO yes indeed.

The turn is sick because gives a straight to JT (something reasonable as he played), so I'm sure many experienced players will say "check ahead"

BUT

at this level everyone fell in love with trapping, meaning that they will check the river if you bet the turn and bet them for themselves if you check the turn instead.
So the bet is fine: you'll chase away overcards and minimize you're loss if you're against a straight. Just try to bet as small as you can without looking suspicious.
