Step by step, pretty unique hand
SB: $181.00
Hero (BB): $197.00 UTG: $219.00 CO: $75.25 BTN: $270.95 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players) 2 folds, BTN raises to $4.00, SB calls $3.00, Hero calls $2.00 Flop: ($12) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, Hero??? BTN is a very wierd fishy villain, makes odd raises, and doesn't like to fold post-flop, I saw him call down with 33 on a 4578 board. SB is another loose-passive 30/8 type guy. I'll post turn and then river after some response on what my plan should be here. |

Re: Step by step, pretty unique hand
I check.
I don't bet here because I am not prepared for a button raise. If he raises would we push. I don't know. I check and see what the button does. A free card here isn't bad. SMS |

Re: Step by step, pretty unique hand
I feel like this flop is good for SBs range, therefore I'd check and use my good relative position to the preflop raiser.
If button bets and SB calls, I'll usually raise, hoping to win the bot there. |

Re: Step by step, pretty unique hand
I like a check here. If it's checked around and SB checks the turn I probably fire on safe turn.

Re: Step by step, pretty unique hand
I think check/call is pretty standard on the flop tbh, we can't really like getting shoved on or called and then whiffing the turn, plus we have decent implied odds vs these guys. Onto the turn -

Re: Step by step, pretty unique hand
Obviously bet now. Button is a station and isn't going to bet a non-flush hand into 2 people. I still think potting the flop is the best play here, but preflop is pretty bad.

Onto the turn - [/ QUOTE ] You bet 12, he's going to shove for 200 more? If so, its probably a fold anyways. If he raises big, you probably don't have odds or FE so just fold. You only have a bare NFD with not much implied odds because your draw is obvious. If he calls flop, you can still profitably fire turn, but at least you get a chance to win this pot. Or you can check turn, and see what he does. Not a big deal if he pots turn and you have to give up. |

Re: Step by step, pretty unique hand
Lead. I hate c/r cause your hand looks sooooo strong and folds a lot of high flushes. If you do a sorta weakish lead, you could get c/r with Jd or w/e hoping to get you off your low or w/e diamond. I lead for like 32-38
