Re: SBRUGBY QUITTING?
[ QUOTE ]
But more than that I think I have accomplished pretty much every goal I set for myself in poker and am now not as interested in playing. [/ QUOTE ] This is really unconvincing. Only some months ago he was saying that he wanted to be the best nl player for longer than Lodden and Prahlad and also wanted to learn some Limit poker. If being the best was all that matters to him then now is the time that he should be motivated. He set some pretty lofty goals and he accomplished as much as anyone online. Its sad if he cannot be satisfied with that and feels the need to make excuses. |

Re: SBRUGBY QUITTING?
he will not quit, he is merely doubting himself like everyone does. Downswings happen.

Re: SBRUGBY QUITTING?
[ QUOTE ]
it seems to me Brian wants the ultimate lifestyle. Poker to him, was perhaps entertaining and challenging in the past, but he has also realized that he has made so much money, made enough good friends, and achieved what he wanted through this poker "thing", that he doesn't need to continue this grind I think he is now ready to move beyond the poker lifestyle and go after something greater, more meaningful to him.Shouldn't we be cheering him on? [/ QUOTE ] If he won 10 buyins today do you think hed still be sick of poker? come on, he is obviously going to continue playing. every week some clown on here makes a post about 'poker is boring, im running bad, i want to pursue other interests and find the true meaning of life, ive made so much money and im so young, im not playing until two weeks, etc'... and then three days later they are playing again. |
