also look for a quick flash of the fingers beneath the partition, dont forget the shopping bag to stand in so only one set of legs is showing from beneath

If you want food theres lots of places. Head downtown.
1. Solera, awesome spanish food and supposedly they have rooftop movies. Cool stuff too like Office Space, not new feature flicks
2. If you want the best steak EVER, go to Manny's in the Hyatt hotel. Get the 48 ounce porterhouse. Everything is awesome though. Baked potatoes nearly football size. Very expensive but worth it if you can swing it.
3. Oceanaire is right across from Mannys in the Hyatt as well. Super expensive seafood but as good as anywhere, And I grew up near Cape Cod.
4. Whitey's is a saloon on University in NE minneapolis. Fun place to drink and hang out, hot chicks and some of the best bar food anywhere.
5. Ted Cooks 19th hole Barbq on 38th and Hiawatha has some kick ass ribs. Take out only but seriously awesome stuff and unique.
6. Uptown Bar and grill has awesome breakfast and the best hot turkey sandwich in the world. Located near Hennepin and Lake streets in Uptown, can be a fun bar too..
7. Go to Block E/ warehouse district on a weekend night, its too clubby for me but everyone is there and its pretty wild.
8. The nearby town of Hopkins is my preffered drinking spot. It has a small downtown with several bars, is lots of fun and you can walk from place to place. My usual weekend spot.
9. Dont miss live horse racing, limit donkey shows from 2-4 to 30-60 and 50-100 sngs at Canterbury park in Shakopee. About 20 mins from mpls. Check there website for MTT info.
10. Sheiks Palace Royale. Hennepin and 3rd street. The midwest Scores, if you like strip clubs and are baller go here!

Good luck enjoy Mpls and do a trip report. Its a fun city.

Have not been back in a while. Does Loring Pasta Bar in Dinkytown still do their movie nights? I really enjoyed that the couple times I was there for it. Plus, it's a really cool looking joint.

The Web site has plenty of music on the calendar, but a casual scan found no movies.
