Dammit. Spoke too soon. The client is down for me, but the site is ok.
btw - there is a message on the site about newbodog.com.
It says "We are in the midst of a dispute over our bodog.com url and are working to resolve it quickly. Please go to newbodog.com to avoid any technical problems you may be currently experiencing with our website"

Just called them again. Apparently due to the DNS issues, if you can't get into the software you'll have to re-download the new Bodog Poker from www.newbodog.com/poker

this looks like it might potentially not be legit.

Can anyone with more than 3 posts confirm or deny? This one strikes me as potentially suspicious.

I was suspicious too, so I called Bodog at the number on the error pop up when I try to log in to Bodog. The lady their told me to go to newbodog.com too.

When I went there it does look legit.

I am still not going to download as I don't need to play there yet, and there info page says they will likely be back at their old address soon.

All tabs at newbodog aren't working for me. The mainpage comes up but any further clicking leads to "there is a problem with the website's security certificate"

wtf? anybody on the tables through this site?

They probably just messed up in the rush to switch sites, but I think ill take the night off anyway...

Also, I notice it isnt https like bodog.com, it is just http. So I guess that means nothing is encrypted right?

I'm still getting the "217 error code" window. Called support and the guy I spoke with said, "we are sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing, it is a technical matter our support team is working on..........
My wife said "now you can take Mom and me to the store." Thanks Bodog!

Inside info -
Many of their domains were turned over to a 3rd party. This was the result of a patent infringement lawsuit against Bodog that their legal advisors state has no merit. Bodog was not present at the proceedings so the 3rd party got a default judgement.
Bodog is in the process of getting everything operational under a new domain - just incase this whole thing lasts longer than they expect. I don't have the new domain, but I'll post when it's available.
