Default 400NL | deep vs. maniac. my overpair gets c/r\'ed on 2-paired river

This guy is crazy. About 60/30 over 100 hands. Raises all kinds of crap, but I haven't seen him make an opening raise of this size. He built his stack by opening with trash, flopping flushes, trips, etc, and stacking good players with reasonable hands. We have one notable hand from same table:

Titan 2.00/4.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

Button ($1528.40)
SB Hero ($489.40)
BB ($400.00)
UTG ($405.00)
UTG+1 ($584.40)

Preflop: Hero is in the SB with J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
1 fold, UTG+1 calls 4.00, Button calls 4.00, Hero raises to 20.00, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls 18.00, Button calls 18.00.

Flop (70.00) 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets 56.00, UTG+1 calls 56.00, Button calls 56.00.

Turn (238.00) T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets 185.00, 1 fold, Button calls 185.00.

River (608.00) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Button bets 204.00, Hero calls 204.00

Hero shows J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Button shows 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero wins 1016.00 with Two pair, Jack's and Six's with a Ten for a kicker

I realize I might have made some big mistakes throughout this hand. I just called pre-flop because I figured the raise size would be enough to get us heads-up, I was unsure what to make of his 8x pf raise, and I wanted to keep the pot a comfortable size for the time being, as he tended to make overbets post-flop and I've never played this deep at this level and I wanted to keep from making a big mistake with QQ against his suspect pf raise.

Comments on all streets would be great, but I'm most concerned with the river:

Titan 2.00/4.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

Button Hero ($1010.90)
SB ($398.30)
BB ($373.00)
UTG ($1607.20)

Preflop: Hero is on the Button with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG raises to 32.00, Hero calls 32.00, 2 folds.

Flop (70.00) J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG checks, Hero checks.

Turn (70.00) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG bets 60.00, Hero calls 60.00.

River (190.00) J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG checks, Hero bets 80.00, UTG raises to 320.00

his line makes no sense to me, hes bad, he puts us on AK and can be attempting to make us fold it or thinks his TT is the nuts, etc = snapcall.

Bet the flop when he checks to you, every time.

Not betting that flop has got to be a major leak (ESPECIALLY after not raising pre)

Raise pre. Having deep stacks is MORE of a reason to raise, not less.

You made mistakes in this hand, in fact it could be argued that you played every street wrong.

And what do I do when he check-raises the flop after an 8x pfr ? I haven't seen him raise so large, and why is he checking this flop?
