Default 100NL- poorly played AK?

Villain is 44/7.8/0.75 over 100 hands. Not really sure what got into me this hand...but by showdown all I could think was "wow, I might've played this hand terribly"

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $110.71
BB: $196.11
Hero (UTG): $98.50
MP: $134.70
CO: $97.88
BTN: $109.45

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $4.00, MP folds, CO calls $4.00, 3 folds

Flop: ($9.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $7.00, CO raises to $14.00, Hero calls $7.00

Turn: ($37.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10.00, Hero calls $10.00

River: ($57.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks

Pot Size: $57.50 ($2.87 Rake)

...and go!

not sure why you think this was played bad? Pf is fine. Flop is fine. He usually has a weaker K or FD here. Turn you're on the nut FD, so a call is good with outs. It would really suck if you donked and he C/R you.......

I'm assuming you feel like you lost value in this hand. Where do you think this happened, and what would you do differently given the chance?

It just felt super weak and I really had no idea what was going on. At the time, I just wanted to get to showdown asap. I'll throw in a question mark in the title ;o

i think you can bet/fold the river as played.

edit: because hes obv loose/passive and he's not bluffing missed draws or bluff-raising ever, but is prob calling w/ any K.

we can't really call if he shoves, and we'd also like to draw to the nutz. If we hit and villain bets river, a c/r would have much more value then c/r the turn.

Also, I like the river check to induce. I think villain's AF is pretty high given he plays a hell of a lot of hands. If we bet and he min-raises again, there's too much money in the pot for us to fold and we have tptk. I take the showdown.

As played I definitely lead the river for around half pot, I think with his stats you'll see KQ, KJ or KT quite a lot.

after he bets turn for $10, i like betting like 30 on river and folding to a raise. if he had bet larger i might be more inclined to check again.
