Default Full ring vs. 6max on micro stakes

can someone explain to me the advantages of playing 6max tables, and i geuss the disadvantages of full ring?

I have been playing mainly tournaments, and while finding success in them, would like to transfer over to cash game play. I have been messing around at the micro stakes trying to improve my game, and noticed that the majority of 2p2'ers insist on 6max game play.

My bad if there has been a discussion on this before, couldnt find it with the search feature.

Thanks

More action, you can get more hands in and most people can't adjust as well to short handed play. They make more mistakes.

My advice is to play both. 6-max games have a reputation of being more loose/aggressive than full ring games, but I've found loose/aggressive games in both formats. My win rate is the same in both.

Full ring is incredibly boring, but I suppose one could play more tables at FR to counter that effect.

Both are very profitable, FR you're gonna be playing less hands, less variance as well, I like them both. I usually fire up 3 6-max tables and 1 FR.

i can play 8 tables of FR vs. 4 tables of 6-max, but FR is still boring as sh*t. I'd have to look at my hourly winrate to see which is higher, but frankly, I'd rather play 6-max even if my hourly rate is a little lower there than playing 8 FR games.
