supernova elite
Say I start off next year t supernova.
How many hands of 2-4 nl will I have to play to become supernova elite? How does that compare to 27% Rakeback I get on tilt? Thanks in advance |

Re: supernova elite
I'm going to totally guess and say like 1.25M hands.

Re: supernova elite
Not sure on the # of hands (guessing in the 1.4 mill range)
for which you will get $65000 in bonuses plus ~ 30k (?) in tourney entries. |

Re: supernova elite
Old thread on VPP/hand said that 2/4 NL is .62
So we're talking more like 1.61 million hands. But this depends on whether he's playing 6-max or full-ring, his own playing style, table-selection, etc. On his way to getting to Elite he could easily end up getting 37% RB or higher. After he gets to Elite he'll be earning more FPP's. So if he decides to crank it all out and get to Elite again and also wants to spend his FPP's at a higher rate like 1.8 cents per FPP on a car or some big item then he could be getting over 50% easily. 37% I figured an average rake in the $1.50 range and 5.5 avg players per hand and also earning 5.25 cents per VPP. However, Stars might be considering a change to the milestone and freeroll structures which could have a marginal impact on rakeback value. Probably not by too much though. There might also be another week or two that does a double-VPP promotion. If you crank it out a ton during that week then that helps boost your RB value a ton too obviously. |

Re: supernova elite
Ok I guess I will stay on ft, with ocasional stars play.
1.4 million hands is unreasonable for me. I usually play between 40-50k hands a month. |

Re: supernova elite
Well yeah, if all that Elite stuff were available just by playing 500k hands of 2/4 NL in a year or the equivilent of other stakes then everyone would be doing it.
But you do know that you are doing pretty well at Supernova too, right? This means not getting to SNElite but just getting to SN. If 650000 hands of 2/4 NL in a year then you'll be close to making it to 400k VPP's. That's an extra $1250 + $2250 + $3250 in milestone bonuses if they keep the same structure. So an extra $6750 for about 1.6 cents extra per VPP in RB value on top of roughly 5.25 cents per VPP in FPP value. So this is about 6.9 cents per VPP not including additional freeroll value which might change anyway. If we assume roughly 27 cents MGR per hand which is avg-rake of $1.50 and 5.5 average players per hand then 7 cents per VPP would give you 26% RB. If you get up to 520k VPP's for the year to achieve and clear the $5k milestone then that would push you over 27%. And again, this does not include freerol value or their 1 or 2 week stretch of double-VPP's. So at 650k hands a year then probably 27% or higher if you include freerolls and 1 week of earning double-VPP's if they do that promotion again. Even better if you spend your FPP's at the 1.6 cent concierge rate or higher. And just a tad more than that to get the very important $5k bonus at 500k VPP's and you would certainly in the 30% range or higher I would guess. |
