Okay so preflop he raised 3BB which I thought could mean he has a premium hand and if everyone else folds the SPR is healthy 14 for my drawing hand. Maybe this is a little early for 78s?
On the flop I figured I'd semibluff because I figured the implied odds would be less if I check called my draw. Plus I got a gutshot + flush draw so I dont mind building a big pot. When he check raised I figured he probably has an over pair or 2 pair etc so if I reraise he will shove. Plus if I smooth call and hit my draw on the turn he could end up commiting and I could cream off the rest of his stack.
What do you think he had btw?

Yeah i guess this is ok. You could think about pushing the flop after UTG c/r's with some dead money in - but you'd be semibluffing in a quite dry sidepot. You get good odds to call and have position to extract if you hit - so calling his c/r seems acceptable.
Other streets are quite standard imo (except you might think about folding preflop, but i don't mind the call at all).

you can check preflop, its not so bad to play draws passively in a multi way pot
