Couple of tips - ING electronic checking account pays high interest and has $1000 ATM limit
Google "decoy safes" if you still want to keep money at home. Gamblers still need cash on hand because casinos still live in the dark ages.

If you can't get a bank account, this is better than nothing:
 $313 at Costco and has some fire protection. Disguise it by buying some cheap speakers or a nightstand and gut it. Bolt it down if you can.

Citibank has an account that lets you take out $2000 per day from the ATM, I believe. Free withdrawals at 7 11's. If you go into the branch the amount is unlimited.
This thread reminds me, I've got $14,000 in a bundle in my wardrobe that I must do something with.

For transactions over $3,000, they just have to take down your info (presumably in case you make another large transaction in the same day, which could bring your total to over $10,000)

I've never used one before, and don't even know if they offer them in my neck of the woods. Are these something you are given a key for? Do they check your id or have other verification procedures to make sure you are who you really say you are when trying to access your cash?
