Ok just had my first draft - what do you guys think? 10 team league, we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 1 Flex of WR/RB. Points are Yahoo standard points with the exception of QB TD passes being worth 6 points as opposed to 4. I had the 10th pick so I had the snake.

1 - Peyton Manning (QB)
2 - Rudi Johnson (RB)
3 - Brandon Jacobs (RB)
4 - Larry Fitzgerald (WR)
5 - Ahman Green (RB)
6 - Andre Johnson (WR)
7 - Darrell Jackson (WR)
8 - Alge Crumpler (TE)
9 - Tatum Bell (RB)
10 - Ladell Betts (RB)
11 - Eli Manning (QB)
12 - Santonio Holmes (WR)
13 - Packers D (DEF)
14 - DJ Hackett (WR)
15 - Matt Stover (K)
16 - Chris Henry (RB)

Another grade my draft. I picked 7th out of 10. I'm tilting a bit as Gore just missed falling to me, I didn't realize there were only 13 rounds (gay) and we have to draft to fill every position (I can't skip K or D to stock up picks)

1. (7) Joseph Addai
2. (14) Cedric Benson
3. (27) Torry Holt
4. (34)Housh
5. (47) Brandon Jacobs
6. (54) Donald Driver
7. (67) Jon Kitna
8. (74) Alge Crumpler
9. (87) Laverneus Coles
10. (94)Jerious Norwood
11. (107) Fred Taylor
12. (114) Carolina D (was going to get Betts here!)
13. (127) Shayne Graham

Should I just ride Kitna with no backup? [censored] 13 rounds, I was planning on taking Favre who was still available. Leftwich was around as well. So do I pickup a backup? Who do I drop? Norwood or Taylor seem like the most likely, but I'd hate giving one of them up.

Here's a team I drafted yesterday. 12 team, no ppr, yardage bonuses, passing TD's worth 5, all others 6. We start 1, QB, 1 TE, 1 D, 1 K, 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 flex RB/WR. I had the 6th pick.

6. Joseph Addai, RB Ind
19. Maurice Jones-Drew, RB Jax
30. Reggie Wayne, WR Ind
43. Javon Walker, WR Den
54. Brandon Jackson, RB GB
67. DeAngelo Williams, RB Car
78. Tony Romo, QB Dal
91. Santonio Holmes, WR Pit
102. Jay Cutler, QB Den
115. Randy McMichael, TE StL
126. Brandon Jones, WR Ten
139. Matt Jones, WR Jax
150. LJ Smith, TE Phi
163. 49ers D
174. Olindo Mare, K NO
187. DeDe Dorsey, RB Ind

Thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ]

Seems solid. I don't know I much like the Romo pick though. Were any RBs available? I think you're a bit thin at RB.

[/ QUOTE ]

Any RBs? I had 4 in my first 6 picks. I don't see that as thin. Anyway, I thought Romo was the best QB available at the time. Cutler could outplay him though, we'll see.

Looks like a really solid squad. Nice getting Ladell Betts in the 10th round, thats big. Having P. Manning in a 6 point TD pass league is huge this year.

I like the idea of dropping Heath Miller and picking up Lamont Jordan more. A backup tight-end is usually unnecessary. I'm guessing Gonzalez will play every week for you anyway and you should have no problem finding a bye week filler. Just my opinion.

yup, even consider picking up someone else and dropping your backup defense as well.

if you dont have an every week starter at DEF then only keep one and rotate based on who's hot

Here is a team a just drafted. 12 teams, pretty standard scoring. I had the 10th pick in the first and we redraw every 2 rounds (weird but whatever) so I don't remember exactly what picks I had the rest of the way. Gore somehow managed to slip (I assume because of unwarranted injury concerns) which I was obviously thrilled about. Other than that I'm not sure what to think. We start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, 1D. Any comments/suggestions welcome.

1. Frank Gore (RB)
2. Willis McGahee (RB)
3. Marc Bulger (QB)
4. Roy Williams (WR)
5. Donald Driver (WR)
6. Andre Johnson (WR)
7. Jerious Norwood (RB)
8. DeAngelo Williams (RB)
9. Braylon Edwards (WR)
10. Matt Leinert (QB)
11. Jason Witten (TE)
12. Olindo Mare (K)
13. Dolphins

Done.

Also, should I be starting Big Ben vs (Cle) or Bulger vs (Car). I'm leaning towards Rothlisberger
