Re: overplayed?
[ QUOTE ]
you got some good response to your post and some really good posters weighed in...i agree with them that on the flop when capped it was time for you to slow down, although i must confess their explanations far exceed anything i could provide... two other areas not discussed, and i hope the more seasoned posters also weigh in...re: raising pre-flop from UTG with KQo...i've done it when i believed the table was playing tight in general, but its something i am cautious about...also, interesting is that the villain iso-raised you with what i would consider another questionable hand ATo under normal circumstances... is there anything to be inferred by these two actions? the OP is too loose aggressive & the villain sees that and is taking advantage? or villain was just lucky? how should OP adjust his play versus this villain? i would think it ought to be tighted up preflop [/ QUOTE ] IMO you shuoldn't play at a table with a guy like this sitting on your direct left ... there is no shame in getting up and leaving when a situation is not optimal (or as close to it as it could be, when you have other options) |

Re: overplayed?
once he caps the flop, that cannot be a good thing. I would imagine seeing UTG with KK(1), QQ(1), JJ(3), and maybe AT(~4/16 as a guesstimate). I would not bet out on turn but would rather c/c and c/c the river.

Re: overplayed?
ty 4 the responses, as i assumed i have overplayed it a bit, the right play would have been to c/c the turn and fold the ugly river
