Bad calls?
CO is a 33/7/2.8
Both blinds are loose-passive (WTSD 50) .5/1 5-handed Hero is UTG T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero raises, CO calls, fold, SB calls, BB calls Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8 SB) check, check, hero bets, CO raises, SB calls, BB calls, hero calls After a raise and 2 calls, I don't believe I have the best hand. I think i still have to call with 21:1 odds. Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8 BB) check, check, Hero checks, CO bets, 2 calls, hero calls Is this call ever correct? If i just win half of the times i catch a club or a ten.. or should i just fold? |

Re: Bad calls?
Wow, crappy spots.
getting 15:1 you cant fold the flop. On the turn you have 2 ok set outs and 9 very dirty club outs. Getting 11:1 you need about 4 outs. So if your set outs are worth 1.5 and your club outs are worth about 2.5 the call is about neutral EV. I would prolly call the turn. But its close and I am far from sure. But it sounds about right that the eprobability of someone having a better fd than you is about 70% to 75% giving you about 2.5 club outs. |

Re: Bad calls?
Yeah, hands like this one suck. I always end up calling here, the pot is big but I'm not sure it's big enough to make folding wrong.
