Default NLCASH .50/1.00 extracting value from floater

This guy was either floating or raising every c-bet I made.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (2 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($100.10)
Hero ($72.20)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $3.5, BB calls $2.

Flop: ($6.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB raises to $10, Hero calls $6.

Turn: ($26.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ?

How do I get the most value out of him?

You have two streets to try and get the rest of the monies in.

You have ~$60 left so that can be divided up really into two ways: two $30 bets or a $20 bet and a $40 bet.

All that being said, if this guy doesn't have a hand you're just not getting paid off. And if he does have a hand that may pay off it's likely an A or a pp. If I was him I'd be much more likely to call 20 with that range and *maybe* the 40. Betting 30 here with so little behind just doesn't really make sense.

So yeah, I bet $20 and plan to bet $40 unless he beats me into the middle with a raise or river lead.

Yugoslav
PS the way NOT to get the most value is to check behind and hope he bluffs on the river

The other times where he check-raised your c-bet, did he ever check-raise you on the turn aswell? Or did he lead the turn?

I would bet the turn probably 1/2 pot sized bet not to scare him off hoping he he has the A or a draw that could make him call and hopefully have him hit the draw on the river.

Bet 20 on the turn and 40 on the river.

15 against certain opponents might be better. 22 against someone who thinks big bets are bluffs would have a use too, but absent a read, 20 and 40 should get the job done.

^ This is probably the mistake that many make.

I would consider putting fish on a hand range, which includes flush or straight draws. All that adds up to a 18-22 bet on the turn, which coincidentally works well as Yugo says with regards to stacksizes on the river.
