I'm sure there's some people that would break into the computer given the same situation just to satisfy their curiosity. Not saying that you should do it, but if you wanted to this is how:

1) http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/ You boot your computer from this CD (you might have change the settings in the bios to get the computer to boot from the cd.) Ophcrack will spit out the windows passwords in just a few seconds. To bypass the fingerprint scanner on the laptop just press Ctrl+Alt+Del so you get the default login screen.
2)Go to yahoo mail, maybe she has her password saved or is already logged in, if not proceed to number 3....
3)Get any keylogger, ex: www.actualspy.com and (you might have to uninstall antivirus on the computer or add the keylogger to the ignore list
4)Profit!
