If he is some taggish player I'd imagine his range is either Ax suited or some suited connector that already has a flush with maybe an occasional float with a pocket pair. With that range it's probably best to check since ax will probably fold and getting raised on a blank turn would be sort of gross if you bet.

And I don't really imagine a heart turn/river will change a whole lot versus his range except make him slow down with an already made flush.

pd, those were pretty much my thoughts on his range, along with a float with air.

so think c/c turns is best but id love to hear some counter arguments.

ok yes its pretty near impossible for him to show up with 2pr/set here and it makes sense that his likely hands are flushes and weak 1 pair hands. but he should be so rarely slowplaying the flop that you simply need to get value by keeping on betting.

if he raises you can slow down and maybe even fold if you think hes that predictable.

if i bet and he raises, then i either kill my odds to draw to a full housse or throw a ton of money in bad.

and he folds a lot of [censored] that im beating. hell, in my mind, [censored] is all im beating given the action.

Definitely agree. I find a way to get the money in on this hand asap and feel great about it.

I kinda think OP is being results oriented because he happened to lose to a flush here.

I really don't know what kind of range of hands you guys are giving a tag villain here that will stack off with worse here given preflop action.
