I see nothing wrong with the way you played both hands.
Hand 1, I mix it up and sometimes raise flop and sometimes wait for turn. I don't want my more observant players to know that I always wait for the turn to pop it when I have TP. As played, getting 3B on turn sucks but I agree w/ TheHip and call down and hate myself.

Hand 2, no way in hell I'm folding TP in a blind steal situation w/ just a flop c/r unless he's the most predictable passive player. I just call down. Also, someone mentioned raising in the chance he's drawing. I don't like this b/c almost all players will bet the river w/ missed draws anyway so you make the same amount w/o the risk of getting outplayed.
