Thanks for the replies from some of my earlier queries - I always find the best help comes from the brew...

Just been browsing around 2+2 and was wondering - what is the difference between mods with green/blue/dark blue/red text?

green = normal mod
blue = textbook writer (not sure though)
red = administrator (sklansky etc.)

Pretty marginal spot Wooster. I think call & c/r flop of unders > push > fold.

[/ QUOTE ]

And I feel that with 3bettor being as wide as he is, I'd just get it in pf and not worry about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

He raised behind a limper, raiser and caller. How wide a range are you giving him?

[/ QUOTE ]

Any pocketpair, most Aces .. and some junk like KJs or QJs ... maybe even 87s

Probably a noobish question.

Should one out of position be more or less inclined to 3-bet a medium-strength hand like 99?
And if one decides to 3-bet, should the amount be bigger in position or not?

I dont like making pots larger oop.

3-bet medium PP is really dependant on villain raising etc.

My guess is call PF, donkbet or CR any flop is much better than 3-betting it.

This is really a kinda depends on the table/situation answer

Vs a late Pos. Raiser who is stealing quite a bit, this is a good situation to 3-bet light here, since you generally won't get paid off when you hit your set....therefore calling for set value is bad unless you plan on taking away pots from the villain when we don't hit our set.

Vs an early Pos Raiser I will generally flat call from the blinds, unless there are multiple callers and I feel a squeeze could be profitable.(Probably not something you want to try until you have a better feel for 3-bet pots.)

But all this can change depending upon the villain/table dynamics. Hope this
