Crazy Pineapple - winrates, variance, etc...
Didn't find much on a search.
I sometimes play in a 40-80 mix game where one of the games that gets called occasionally is Crazy-P. I *thought* I was playing this solidly, but since I might only have 10 total hours of time it's impossible to know, especially since half of that is short-handed. I'm still licking my wounds from last night where I got crucified on 3-4 consecutive Crazy-P hands, and I'm not really sure there was anything I could have done about it. I know in general that short-handed play has more variance, and hi-lo games with semi-maniacs are going to increase that. I'm just wondering about what "normal" might be, and how Crazy-P compares to Omaha hilo and/or other games in terms of variance and winrates. Any links, articles, further reading suggetions on this (and Crazy P in general) is much appreciated. |

Re: Crazy Pineapple - winrates, variance, etc...
The link in the FAQ is probably the best info on CP anywhere.
I'd be surprised if anyone's played enough of it to give you a real estimate of the variance involved. You'll probably get more out of posting the hands. |
