Default 100NL 6max - standard?

Villain is 37/18/3.91 no other read

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Hero ($98.50)
Button ($131.30)
SB ($12.72)
BB ($54.05)
UTG ($97.05)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, Button calls $4, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($9.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $7</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $19</font>, Hero calls $12.

Turn: ($47.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $30</font>, Button calls $108.30 (All-In), Hero calls $45.50 (All-In).

Final Pot: $231.30

When he raised me on the flop I thought he could have a fairly wide range of hands from overpairs to flush draw, but I thought a 3bet would fold out many of the hands I'm beating, and certainly not folding any of the hands that are beating me. I probably should have bet 40 on the turn. I don't really see a better line but I don't much like losing 100xBB with one pair without a decent read.

Let me know what you think, thanks.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I was afraid of the four when he raised me on the turn, but couldn't fold. He ended up have 33 and I obviosly lost.

D,

This smells like an overpair only if villain is an uber donk.

btw, theyre are lots of possible overpairs.

Line looks fine on this. I would have probably thought the same thing on the flop, either he is dominated and folds to a raise or you are already crushed.
