Default Rivered set, so so spot

Hi,

Vilain is 30/10/1.8 after 153 hands. I feel stats are inacurate, guy looks semi-solid at least. Plan was to float and take down pot on turn since I noticed he's giving up easily. Then, that river card ....

he insta pushed river and was like.... meh, what do i beat.
Clear fold???

A 30/10/1.8 is NOT gonna be double-barreling with something he wants to fold. When you float, you bet when you're checked to, but when he bets again (especially being kinda loose/passive), he HAS a hand and he's not folding. This is a really so so spot and you don't beat anything that fires three barrels IMO. This whole hand is pretty meh.

fold flop...... iow why on earth did you float on a flop where villain will almost never fold anything because it's so likely he's on a draw or a pair + a draw?

well i had a read!

like i said, he seems to be giving up easily with big bets/raise. For sure, no mater how questionable is the flop call and turn raise with air, i know im 100% screwed on turn.

then, easy fold on river too.

ok im learning...

also, if you do float that flop, that turn is a bad card to bluff raise, since it is NOT one of the 9,000 cards that completes a draw (except for exactly 85)

Is it +ev to call the turn and fold to a river bet but check behind the rest of the time?

I feel that villain is on a draw and we win the pot a reasonable amount of the time. Also, villain is not likely to 3 barrel with air given his agg factor.

No crunchi, don't put opponents on the one hand you beat. Calling down blindly is bad.
