Re: 27 top pair on monotone board vs regular
Fold pf. I also think you are beat when a winning regular is potting the flop (fold) and leading the turn (fold)

Re: 27 top pair on monotone board vs regular
i think a limp early w/ a full stack is okay from the co, with a limper in front, no?

Re: 27 top pair on monotone board vs regular
I personally would open fold it. My range for limping behing there is 22-TT, AJs, AQo ... maybe KQ,JQ,JT,9Ts but probably not

Re: 27 top pair on monotone board vs regular
limp is bad, fold pf. if it's suited maybe i limp every once in a while, depending on how loose/tight the table is. fold flop. most likely in a 'winning regular's' range is ATs+, maybe 22+ but probably more like 66+, but because we don't have a heart this is an easy fold.

Re: 27 top pair on monotone board vs regular
I don't hate the limp behind, but I'm not that keen. I usually wouldn't.
Did button lose his chips doing anything stupid? Loose cannon or easy fodder? Winning regular in the SB - is he completing fairly loose getting 7:1, or does he really nit it up in the blinds? On the flop, this looks like TPTK (maybe)/baby flush/set/2 pair protecting against a flush draw. I can't see anything else sanely betting pot here. So, he's a winning regular betting pot OOP into 3 opponents in a limped pot on a monotone board to protect his hand. Fold flop looks pretty good to me. |

[ QUOTE ]
Hence 'limping behind' [/ QUOTE ] hence you said [ QUOTE ] I personally would open fold it. [/ QUOTE ] when in fact the betting was opened. and hence, you continued to say [ QUOTE ] My range for limping behing there is ... maybe KQ ... [/ QUOTE ] but you hence had previosly said to fold preflop. hence, it is my conclusion that you dont know wtf youre trying to say and should keep your extra chromosomal speech to yourself. |
