I can't really see what hands you beat that will just call the river besides T9 maybe, but he is aggresive and he could be bluffing a T so I perfer c/c river just to keep the pot a bit smaller the times where you are behind.

Nah, this is perfect. You are never behind here. This bet will probably get more value from 9x than if you c/c (since he might check behind). Also, from my experience people are more likely to pull a big bluff over fake blocking bets than if you check.

I like it, I don't like checking because I think he checks behind way too often here. Betting 2/3-2/4 pot is fine as well obviously, but he could have peeled the flop and turn with some crappy 1 pr type hand that he won't call with unless you two have some history or he thinks you bluff a lot or w/e.

if you have the read that he raises weak blockbets on the river, when your play is fine. otherwise i do not like it
