TPGK plus flush draw, what to do on the turn
$1/$2, villain's TAG but no real read, I sat down 25 hands or so mostly tight/passive due to bad cards/flop, never gone past flop yet. Stacks about $85 each.
Preflop: Deal to Hero [Jd Tc] 4 folds, BU raises to $4, Hero calls from BB. Flop ($9): [9d Th 5d] Hero bets $8, BU raises to $16, Hero calls. Turn ($41): [9d Th 5d] [2d] What would you do here? Given my image would a shove be wrong? |

Fold that crap preflop.
As played preflop, check-call the flop and see the turn card and his action. |

JT can't call a minraise PF?? [/ QUOTE ] It's not optimal. If you sense he's weak then 3-bet and pick up some dead money. If you aren't sure then fold and see if this min-raise on the button becomes habit. Playing Jack hi OOP without initiative against a TAG is not a winning recipe. [ QUOTE ] Just checking the flop and calling seems weak to me. [/ QUOTE ] You have an average strength hand that can't sustain action. No sense in bloating the pot. |

Meh i call min raises with JT and then i plan on getting another $80 in if i flop top pair. I'm operating under the theory that guys with $85 will showdown awful hands.
