100nl: A9 tptk vs bad player
I don't know if this is a really standard spot, but it always stumps me a bit.
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $92.70 BB: $148.10 UTG: $124.90 Hero (BTN): $100.00 Reads: <font color="blue">Villain is 40/30/2</font> Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, SB calls $3.00, BB calls $2.50 Flop: ($10.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $7.00</font>, SB calls $7.00, BB folds Turn: ($24.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $17.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $34.00</font>, Hero ??? |

Re: 100nl: A9 tptk vs bad player
Instead of putting in $17 with a turn bet against an aggro player you should check the turn and call any reasonable river bet.
I only like betting this turn against a loose-passive. |

Re: 100nl: A9 tptk vs bad player
I agree. I think that's the most reasonable line here.
