Isnt it better to do this with 87s? Anyway I dont like it and I dont think button is folding QQ and thinking anyone here will fold KK is kinda mad.

[/ QUOTE ]

depends how often villain will call with AK. If its <than 20% then i would prefer 87s

[/ QUOTE ]

vs. QQ+,AKs JJ=87s. vs KK+,AKs JJ>87s

[/ QUOTE ]

Huh? isn't the weighting of AKs more important than the exclusion of QQ?

Either way, i dont think its going to make a much of a difference if you do this with JJ or 87s.

[/ QUOTE ]

well thats why i did AKs and not AKs,AKo

fold, this is 1/2 not 10/20 and you cant really count on a) anyone makning cold-4bets thin/as bluffs or b) people folding QQ or KK (lol?) preflop.

What do you mean by this statement?

yeah seriously, this hand is a no brainer. sometimes when i feel like playing some 1/2 to chill out and avoid variance for a day i will overplay hands because im so used to the pf aggression at 2/4 and 3/6. 1/2 on average is ridiculously tight on 3betting, and even moreso on 4betting preflop when compared to the above limits. JJ is an instamuck and its not even close.

Someone has a serious case of FPS here

Sure, UTG is 24/20, but he's still opening UTG and this makes it less likely CO will 3-bet him light. Furthermore, BTN should realize that CO is less likely to have air in this spot, so his 4-bet is a tremendously strong play.

There's no way JJ has enough equity vs his range to do this for value, and making this play as a bluff is just ridiculous. Not only do you have to get BTN to fold (he'll be getting over 2:1), you have to count on the fact that neither UTG nor CO has a real hand. No one folds kings preflop.

You do get points for creativity though.

I get the impression the people responding here didn't look at your reads, this hand is played fine. If one of them show up with AA you're obviously toast, but otherwise you're taking this down. VNH.

This is a standard preflop dump for me.

Honestly, my thinking here is that I really am in the dark whether my hand is good. At best it's a flip with no fold equity against these guys and a lot of the time I'm drawing thin to my two Jacks left in the deck.

Even with stats and reads the button usually has no worse than AK or QQ here.

I don't see the need to put yourself in spots like this when honestly you have no idea where you stand. This isn't a profitable spot in the least.
