Re: 100r early vs thay3r squeeze
ok,so since thayer is never folding, we're getting 1.6:1 on our money, so we need ~38% equity, and after thinking more, yea i agree we dont have that much. If we dit it w/ JJ, we gotta shove though.

Re: 100r early vs thay3r squeeze
I agree with gobbo, seems like kind of an easy muck since thayers range is small, calling seems pretty bad preflop

Re: 100r early vs thay3r squeeze
I think calling 1/3rd of your stack and looking for a "safe flop" is generally bad. After you get this safe flop you still dont mathematically improve significantly vs his range. IMO if you think 10s are ahead of thay3rs range preflop (which theyre not imo) you should just jam, if you think they are behind you should fold.
plus safe flopping sucks in general, its what old people do, and my rule of thumb is to do the exact opposite of what a 60 year old would do at all times in order to remain profitable. |

Re: 100r early vs thay3r squeeze
Good advise in general, I agree with your reasoning AMAK - it was my logical choice at the time but come to think of it it was pretty retarded, I think I try to get cute too much in the 100r... oh well atleast I stole FJ's sn right
