Hey Devin, Would it be possible for you to post your calculations. I'm facing a lot of this min. raising guys so this sounds really interesting to me! THANKS!! [/ QUOTE ] Here's the case for villain min raising and calling with any two and you shoving any two with starting stacks of Hero: 7300 and villain: 1700 Equity when you fold: 0.5867 Equity when you shove: -win 47.97%: 0.65 -lose 47.97%: 0.5367 -split 2.03%: 0.5933 - villain folds 0%: 0.6067 Equity of shoving = (0.4797*0.65+0.4797*0.5367+0.0203*0.5933)*100% + (0.6067)*0% = 0.5921 $EV of shove = 0.5921 - 0.5867 = +0.55% $EV. Here's the same calculation if villain folds 50% of the time: Equity when you fold: 0.5867 Equity when you shove: -win 40.75%: 0.65 -lose 57.74%: 0.5367 -split 1.51%: 0.5933 - villain folds 50%: 0.6067 Equity of shoving = (0.4075*0.65+0.5774*0.5367+0.0151*0.5933)*0.5 + (0.6067)*0.5 = 0.5952 $EV of shove = 0.5952 - 0.5867 = +0.85% $EV. |

Re: LC: exploiting a strange pf strategy HU
I'm curious as to how deep villain can be for that to remain +EV. Up to t4000? So that when you push over his t400 minraise he's 'effectively' at 10BBs?
