Default 10/20 6m Deep Stacks

History between the villains and I are that Jamal is a calling station that has been min raising about 20% of his hands or so. JL3053 has seen 31% of flops, and for some reason loves to bet small with monsters, so i have no idea how he got his stack. I doubled through him earlier when he bluff check raised all in the river against my boat. He also was a little pissy when i caught trip 10s on a flop against his QQ few hands earlier.

Hero folded the turn. Failing that folded the river.

Why would i check the turn. There's a flush draw out there and i have a pretty good kicker with my tens. Cant play only the nuts with my stack.

Well I would have raised more on the flop, and I would therefore have serious doubts about my hand and I would want to check for purposes of pot control.

geez. how can you call that turn?

youve shown strength. he isnt afraid of it.

as simple as that.

but as ever, you should only get involved in marginal big pots when you know enough about your opponent.

you havent posted anything about your read of the player, and that obviously swings the decision a lot.

jc i think you played it fine up to where you got checkraised on the turn. you need to fold there.
