Personally, I feel it is a combination of the two, but I'd lean more towards nature than nurture. I think pedophilia and bestiality are aberrant attractions that tend to foster in those who had some sort of past social trauma.

I'm no sociologist though.

I didn't like THE gladiator movie because Crouching Tiger was robbed of an Oscar because of it.

300 was fairly good if you could suspend your disbelief somewhat.
