Re: flopped set ck raise turn?
Looks like you got all you were going to get out of this one anyway. Personally, I would reraise the flop since you have the nuts with villain raising you. Looks like button was just trying to steal what he thought was a CB so you weren't getting any more out of him anyway.

Re: flopped set ck raise turn?
Theres no way youre folding at this point so I would let him bet that turn. Are we really worried about 67 here? I don't think so, you had the trap set for him to bluff AI on the turn. Next time this situatoin comes up think about 1. Is there any reason I'd fold? 2. Will betting chase away hands I dominate. Its really hard for him to bluff when youre all in so next time let him continue to bet your hand in this type of spot.
Hes not really thinking about what you have so in this spot hes thinking, "I have this and I can only win by betting." |

Re: flopped set ck raise turn?
I think CR is ok. The villain only has $15 behind, so I think another approach is to make a little bet, like $7 that he can call and ease the rest of his stack on on the river. I don't think there are any bad options here, though. There's no way your folding.

Re: flopped set ck raise turn?
I tend to slow play a little too much w/ the nuts...especially when I get raised on a pretty flop like that.
But, in this case, I'm w/ ACTIONSTAN. Why not throw out a small donk bet (1/4 to 1/3 pot) & give the villan a chance to raise all-in? [Harrington says that villans are more likely to call bets for 1/2 of their stack so you are just giving the villan the rope & hoping they stick their head thru & raise all in!] |

Re: flopped set ck raise turn?
Nothing wrong with the call, followed by a check on the turn, planning to CRAI. The previous action on this board would suggest perhaps a lower set or an overpair, so villain would likely bet. If villain doesn't bet the turn however, he may view an all-in on the end as a desperate steal attempt and pay off with a moderate holding.
