Best wishes OP.
I don't think it's strange to be happy that someone who has suffered with cancer finally passes. I remember the relief when my grandmother finally died after a long bout with cancer.

Then again, I've lived among some people of extreme faith... this is really unusual, but I've seen some stuff that can compete.
