Default nl200 F*ing K flops

hand #1

vill is 24/11 ( but i seem to remember that he was running a bit more laggish at the time 24/17-19 something)
and we are playing a few tables together.
I just sat down and started to lag him up at first then he started to 3bet me a few times out of the blinds. My impression was that I got him frustrated when i sat down and started to pick up pots at the tables. All his actions where instant and he dident seem to think anything before action, just auto hammering.. I raise he 3bet. I check he bet.

I would just check the flop in hand 1. I think betting allows him to get away from alot of his worse hands. Also, there is not much at all to protect against on this board. If he has AK, you are already beat, and AQ is unlikely since you have both queens. As played, I think the turn is a pretty standard fold.

In hand 2, I'm checking the flop again. And again, turn is a fold.

In both hands, once you bet the flop, you ought to be committing yourself to the hand. You are putting too much of your stack in there to check/fold on the turn. Unless you are betting the flop in both as an almost pure bluff and then planned to give up the turn unimproved, but then you wouldn't have made this post.

So why are you betting the flop? Are you unhappy that you got called on both hands on the flop bet?

I think if you are going to bet the flop for both hands, you should go all the way. If you don't want to go all the way, check the flop in both hands. Being OOP sucks.

At the very least, checking the flop may get TT or lower to bluff at you.
