10NL: A7s CO w/1 limper... Limp or Pop?
Holding an Axs in LP/CO/BTN with one or two limpers. Which carries more EV, limp in cheaply hoping to hit the flush draw? Or raising it up - in this case to .50 - with position and a LP-P as a limper?

Re: 10NL: A7s CO w/1 limper... Limp or Pop?
It depends.
It depends on who is on your left, who the limper is, what the stack sizes are, what your FE is, and what your implied odds are? With medium stacks, if you have some FE and everyone to your left is likely to get out of the way then a raise makes since. However, I think you need more FE than if you had something like 87s. The reason is that postflop 87s is generally a hand that will tend to afford you more semi-bluffing opportunities with which to steal. |

Re: 10NL: A7s CO w/1 limper... Limp or Pop?
At 10NL I usually lean towards limping with this hand. You have some implied odds here and not much FE from the MP2 limper most likely. Try and hit a flop and lay down if you miss.

Limp, get paid when you destroy the board.

My kneejerk is to pop it and get heads up with position on a loose passive player.
Any reads on the button and SB? |

Limp due to your stack.
