Well, I am in the U S, so I do not know. Only the other 'skill' games are available.

Yahoo Poker is part of the Boss Media network, a smaller site currently ranked 12th according to PokerSiteScout. Looks like they have about the same amount of traffic as Ultimate Bet.

Swedens Spel is a great example for the US and shows the potential of a fully regulated site. It is one of the top 5 sites while restricting its player pool to Swedish citizens - that is remarkable. It will not suprise me if the British based sites, who will allow players countries where online poker is not illegal, outnumber pokerstars tenfold within 2 years. Very anxiously awaiting what happens starting Sept 1st.

Are there any British based sites planning on opening September 1st?

Not that I know of. The white list (EU) countries include both Gibraltar and Isle of Man so no need for them to "launch".

There are already 4 premier football teams sponsored by online gambling sites, we can expect adverts from early September, before they could only sponsor teams or TV programmes.

I still half expect some news from Harrahs given the WSOPE in september (coincidence?)
