10K stats
This is not my first 10K hands but it is my first 10K since reading through Miller SSH and Yao a second time through.
I understand that 10K is not much and certainly not enough to give an accurate win rate, but I would really like some feedback. This was practice for an imminent trip to TStone, and ultimately Vegas at xmas for some 2/4 and 3/6, so any tips on adjusting towards those games would be greatly appreciated. All hands were played at Stars .25/.50, 2 to 3 tables at a time. I could not cut and paste from ptracker, but here is a link. Click 'download photo' on the right to see it in better detail. Is there a better way to do this? http://picasaweb.google.com/scott.ma...24299316042786 |

Re: 10K stats
Jesus Christ, why can't I win 5BB/HH for 10K hands?
Scott, did you read the section in the FAQ on stats? I'm not an expert, so I suggest you start there. To me, it looks like your WTSD seems high, but probably since you're running sick hot. Your aggression factor and pfr could probably stand to be higher. Blind defense feels low. Bottom line, it looks to me like you should recognize when you are likely ahead and be more aggressive. Live 2/4 and 3/6 are probably easier than online .25/.50. |

Re: 10K stats
It seemed hot, flushes filling, top pair holding up and so on.

Re: 10K stats
You're definitely running hot, but it also looks like you probably have a lot of fundamentals in place. Now open up the aggression a little more from late position.

Re: 10K stats
That interesting. I was consciously trying to add more well-timed aggression this time around and already I am near the edge of my comfort zone. I will continue to work on it. Thanks!
Regarding the 2/4 live play I am going to TStone next weekend Aug 31-Sept 2. Is anyone from here going to be there? For live 2/4 I'm thinking more implied odds so the draws have more value, and weak hands such as TPTK have less, but in general I will stick to the basics. Preflop I will loosen up with pp and suited connectors. I was at TStone once and I could not believe how often I heard the dealer say '9 players to the flop'... |
