what if we were the lowest stack and the next lowest stacks were three players between 9-12k? shove or fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well that is probably a shove because there is no absolute certainty that two people are busting during the next two hands.

But, IMO, we can tweak this scenario all day and it doesn't really halp anything.

Fact is, in this tournament; with those stacksizes; you will get into the money by clicking the sit out button unless something inconcievable happens. And at this point with less than a blind remaining in our stack - some money is waaaayyy better than no money.

Fold.

Gotta be a fold. Really don't think it's close at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

I lost my stack like 3 hands before this, went from 20bb to 1bb (since he decided not to put me allin and i only had a bluff catcher)

Anyway at that point i decided i pretty much had to fold in, and pretty much folded the AK without thinking. A friend was railing on aim and didn't like it, and shaun seemed to think it was a push because he wasn't convinced we could fold in. FWIW i did cash (by one place) and busted in the BB the hand after h4h

twisted it's one of those spots you hate no matter the outcome, if you end up bubbling in your BB you are going to be soo angry you folded this since you may have won and doubled etc.

I'm allin. You are UTG, so you are allin next hand. If you fold, then you may bust the next hand.

intuitively folding makes the most sense to me in terms of long run EV.

Is there any reason to think two people will bust out this hand? If not, playing this hand is much better.

betgo I think we all agree IF UTG with our stack and these conditions folding is awful but with 2 hands to wait $EV folding is correct. I wonder if we should be folding JJ/QQ as well here.
