Re: Dumb straight+NF Draw against aggro opp.
Ok; I never ever limp pf, but this since me and this guy were so deep, and he was so bad, I wanted to play against him. So there is that.
On flop I could've and probably should've raised, but elected not to. Whatever. On turn I decided that this villain, though bad, would probably not call a shove with an overpair, so that was not an option. I decided that the only hand I'm behind here is 88 with the villains stats, so tried to induce a bluff over the top; hence, I min-raised. He shoved, I called. He showed the 8s. Thoughts? |

Re: Dumb straight+NF Draw against aggro opp.
Since you're so deep, you might wanna raise so you can build a pot and get all his chips in.
I definitely don't mind raising this flop, but meh, like you said: "Whatever." Turn I would just call so as to not scare off an overpair. Looks like he got you good. |

Yeah, happens. This is surely a tough hand to play though, correct?

[/ QUOTE ] you can still play vs him, only hopefully you buy the button and get heads up vs him. also if you usually open for 4x, consider changing to 3x on this table. [/ QUOTE ] i liked a shove until i figured out you had the dummy end. just call. call river, shove if checked to. |
