Been to two different ones. They are a good change of pace and you learn stuff while having fun. I would definitely recommend going to one.

Go with low expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you're spoiled with a huge screen for a movie projector, have rss feeds to astronomy pictures, and go in expecting to be wowed, you will be pretty pissed off.
