NL 25 Laggy call on the river?
I had villian at 38/30 after 50 hands, call on button might've been a spew, thoughts on hand?

I don't hate preflop given Villain's stats. 3-betting light (occasionally) doesn't seem nuts here either, though it pretty much turns your hand into a bluff.
Is Villain aggressive? If so the flop check makes me suspicious, and I might check behind for deception/pot control. But my default would be to bet. However, I check turn for pot control because the board is fairly dry and I can't think of a ton of hands that you beat and that Villain check/calls flop with. River is a bit alarming, and you no longer beat a 7, but I don't think I can fold to this small bet. |

here are some other lines that i think also make sense: -folding preflop -checking behind flop (betting turn and river, probably) -checking behind turn (betting river, probably) |
