Why would you check the flop?

Given your stack size, I think you've got to stack off here. I mean, once BB 3bets the turn you're likely toast, but you're pot committed at that point.

Checking the flop is overly fancy IMO, unless you have a read that BB is aggro or it's a mixer upper. You'll have a hard time getting all in vs. a station on 2 streets.

i checked the flop because i wanted him to lead out on the turn. i figured it was a pretty bad flop and there wasn't much for me to be worried about. so not a good play? or just one of those where you are destined to be stacked?
