A problem I had was managing the 1st pick. I wasn't really sure the best way to go about this since I figured I wanted to get a few players that I didn't think would be available when the draft snaked back around me.

edit - Thanks for the insight though.

You should be going for value rather than worrying if a player will be available when the draft returns back to you.

This is my first experience in Fantasy Football. I took over a management spot for a person who left the league. It's a 10 team keeper league. I can keep two doesn't affect my draft picks. I don't have any studs but was wondering who you'd keep here.

Carson Palmer
Roy Williams
Hines Ward
Jeremy Shockey
Tatum Bell

The top two are the ones I think I will keep as they have the highest ADP at FFCalculator , but I am open to hearing reasoning for keeping one of the other three. The rest of my team is pretty trash.

For those who keep on pimpin Footballguys, how is their Draft Dominator program? Has anyone actually used it for a real draft?

[/ QUOTE ]

I dig it. You can import custom projections that you draw up in the Projections Dominator, and while it took me a little time to get the hang of using the program, it does everything I could want it to do.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is the main reason i buy it each year

[/ QUOTE ]

Is there anything special you do with the program? Seems pretty basic, but I'm just wondering if I'm missing something

No its just convienant, lets u see the depth of all the teams as your drafting your own etc...plus its setup/input is a bit more advanced than Kubiak's in terms of scoring etc.

Hey guys, who would you rather have as your #1 QB, Hasselbeck or Cutler? I'm trying to decide if its worth it to give up anything for Cutler. Most rankings I can find online have Hasselbeck higher. Thoughts?

If there are no penalties for keepers then its Palmer and Williams and its not even close. FYI, they are both studs

Hassleback is fine, Cutler may end up finishing the season better, but it's tough to bet on a second year QB. It's better to include some trade proposals as its hard to help otherwise
