50NL :KK: Value bet river?

Villain is 20/16/2 over 150 hands.

I put him on something like 66-TT and yet I still couldnt bring myself to value bet the river... do you?

My flop and turn bets are a little smallish but I felt if he did have a smaller pp he wouldnt have called pot size bets.

This play would make me think he has exactly the range you are talking about. I would certainly bet $14 on the river after him checking.

Villain's turn line looks much stronger than a medium pp to me. Certainly I think 66 and 77 are out, unless he is pulling a move based on a read, although I think that if villain were going to get cute with 66/77 he'd more likely do it on flop. That leaves 88-QQ. I think JJ/QQ from this villain are unlikely as we'd have heard about them by now probably.

So we beat 99-QQ/air and we lose to sets/straights (SC's aren't impossible). Dunno, I think I weight both those alternatives kinda equally given turn and to me that makes river vb marginal.

And it looks to me more like the h on the end spooked villain when he considered your turn call.
